To go to grad school... or not to go to Grad school...

That is the question. Should we just go and "wait out" this terrible economy that the poor graduating class of 2009 had their "coming out" into? Is it worth the money? I've been thinking about going to grad school to A) wait out the economy (of course) but most of all B) to get the hell away from home. Isn't it sad that I have resorted to hiding behind institutions of higher learning walls to to escape my mother and my small town? I never planed to go to grad school, but life is what happens when you're planning they say, so with that, time to hunt for schools.

Here are the things that made me happy today:

The stripes are sooo appropriate for the season and being that brave to wear all types a stripes makes him that much higher on my style scale. Simple shoes, simple dress, simple bag, simple hair, simply perfect. This older man looks great, put together but not trying to hard. The different tones of blue work so well off of each other, and honestly I love a man in navy.

Thanks thesartorialist.com for my daily does of happiness

XOXO,

The Unrealistic Dreams Resurrection

I woke up to the sound of rain. Yes, it actually rained here in Dallas. So since hell froze over it got me to thinking... what else could happen? Since all the people I know are 20-something, most of us have no children (we know I def. DON'T), most of us don't have jobs that we want... why don't we just be adventurous? Whatever happened to the 20-something who went to live on a beach somewhere and became a pro surfer for 3 years. Or the 20-something who ran away to Paris and fell in love with a hot french man for a year. What happened to those fun loving, carefree, and adventure seeking 20 year olds? Think about what the 20-somethings were doing in the 60's 70's and even the 80's. They were nomads, starting social movements, running to Hollywood to become actors and leaving their mark on that century. When did everyone get so scared? Well I say, we defer our loans, and live our "unrealistic dreams." Hey what's a year gonna hurt?

Our generation of parents are dream crushers, let's resurrect our dreams!
Favorite things:

How GREAT are these!? I love them oh so much. If men weren't coming so short these days I would be all over these! It's a hard knock life for a girls 5'8 and above.

A hot man is always in style. Oh and check out his sick belt with that red shirt, amazing!

The picture below is classic, A) Because she's french, B) the sunglasses and C) She reminds me of my good friend Laura, who to me is always classic.

Let the Crisis Begin

Have you noticed that your entire life is centered school. When you graduate from middle school, there's high school, then college, after college... then what?

My life (along with the rest of the college graduates of the class of 2009) is at a stand still, they prepare us everything and then the day you graduate they throw you out in the water and tell you to swim.

This blog is for all the 20something's out there and, of course, the college graduated class of 2009.. remember to keep up the good fight.
To my friends and sisters at Syracuse University... "Good times never seemed so good."
Here are a few of my favorite things today.
Can you believe it?! These are from Nine West, their new American Vintage collection... I LOVE!
Say what you will about the Olsens, but the
the girls have style. Love this look, from the shoes,
to the bag, to the sweet leather jacket.
